Grandpa Howdy sure takes good care of us. He always comes and helps us in the spring with planting. He fixed our swamp cooler and we planted a huge garden we had a hard time keeping up with. It was neat for the kids to plant things and see things grow. We have been able to grow tomatoes, zuccini, squash, sunflower seeds, beans, beets, colraby turnips, and lettuce.

Haydn, Mekhia and Ahnika loved sitting on our front porch during the summer. They were so excited to sleep in and relax this summer. We put the tent up inside the house for a while, and then camped outside once too. Haydn and Dad went on a fathers and sons outing right before summer came and we love being outdoors.

We also got a Gerbil named Gus Gus. He's really funny to watch and makes the kids giggle.

This is our new outside cat, Sammy Whiskers Max White. We got him just as summer began. He's a really sweet, lovable kitty and we love him.

Ahnika sang the solo, "You're A Grand Old Flag" in our Mt. Nebo Singers performances this summer for the 4th of July and the 24th of July. She was so brave and sounded fantastic. Ahnika also entered the County Fair Talent Show and took 4th place out of 25 kids singing the solo, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". She has a beautiful voice.

Left to Right: Nathan G. (nephew), Haydn, Tori G. (niece), Ahnika, Rock, and Mekhia. We spent a wonderful day with Irene and her kids at the Nephi Park for the 4th of July. They had rides and activities in the park, and great fireworks at the high school that evening. Fun summer days!

Strongest Suit, from AIDA

Our large spring musical, AIDA was a huge success last year. We had two hundred students involved and they did a wonderful job with this production.

This is what I look like right before every performance! Scary!

Here are students performing a version of "Thriller" at our annual fall Halloween themed show called SCREAM. It's one of my favorite parts of the whole year.

In February my Productions Class did a class workshop production of "Into The Woods". It was a difficult show, but the did a great job!

This was our production of "The Foreigner" which we produced in December of last year.

Last year's Shakespeare Acting Competition team! I had a small group who did very well. We even took a 1st place in the dance duo division competition. As you can see, we did a couple of pieces from Macbeth. Aren't they scary?!

My school play, "Your Worst Knightmare" which we performed last September with my Productions Company class. It was a murder mystery dinner theatre production and we had a blast.

This is Mekhia who fell asleep in a costume. She's so darn cute! She's following in her sisters footsteps.

Here is Ahnika and Haydn on their first day of school this year. Ahnika has Ms. Keen for her 5th grade teacher, and Haydn has Mr. Jesson for his 1st grade teacher. They are really excited about school this year!
