Hello friends and family who visit blogspot. I need to be better and update this on a regular basis. We are all doing well. We're ready for school to be out, and we can't wait to go to Disneyland in the fall.
June loves working at the library and has been doing that for most of the year. She works part time and enjoys getting out.
Ahnika just finished playing the role of Annie twice. Once in Nephi the end of February, and the other at my Junior High School the first of April. She was wonderful!
Haydn loves riding his bike and playing video games. He and Ahnika are in Juab's JACK AND THE BEANSTALK playing June 4th-6th in Nephi. Haydn is playing Jack, the title role on the 5th and 6th performance.
Mekhia is talking more and more, and we can't wait to get her potty trained this summer. She's almost ready and can't wait to wear her elmo panties full time.
We got a little weiner dog for Christmas this year and his name is Hershey. He's a little dumb, but makes us happy too. We also added two new kittens to the family, Miley and Lucky last week.
I'm about to open our last musical of the year, ONCE ON THIS ISLAND, which plays May 13th-15th. It's going to be a great production, and my students are really excited.

Grandpa Howdy sure takes good care of us. He always comes and helps us in the spring with planting. He fixed our swamp cooler and we planted a huge garden we had a hard time keeping up with. It was neat for the kids to plant things and see things grow. We have been able to grow tomatoes, zuccini, squash, sunflower seeds, beans, beets, colraby turnips, and lettuce.

Haydn, Mekhia and Ahnika loved sitting on our front porch during the summer. They were so excited to sleep in and relax this summer. We put the tent up inside the house for a while, and then camped outside once too. Haydn and Dad went on a fathers and sons outing right before summer came and we love being outdoors.

Ahnika sang the solo, "You're A Grand Old Flag" in our Mt. Nebo Singers performances this summer for the 4th of July and the 24th of July. She was so brave and sounded fantastic. Ahnika also entered the County Fair Talent Show and took 4th place out of 25 kids singing the solo, "Somewhere Over The Rainbow". She has a beautiful voice.
